About us
From the conception of an idea at Delft University of Technology to a globally played board game. As students at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), we developed our own gaming and simulation board game. What started on an A3 sheet of paper with laminated stickers has grown into a serious game played worldwide.

From Amsterdam to Bangkok
From the Dutch organization Rijkswaterstaat to a leading university in Thailand. The game is also played in America, Italy, and Austria. Through online sessions, we teach them how to facilitate the game themselves.
Efficient collaboration in the industry
As a game participant, you gain insight into the decisions you make almost daily. What did I do well, where is still room for improvement, and why is it so challenging to collaborate efficiently in the transport and logistics sector? Why isn’t synchromodality taking off, and what can we do as a company to make it successful?

The team: the collaborative and fun vibe, and the great friendships.
The game: the lasting enthusiasm of the participants and the new ways and tricks to win they come up with, and to experience how new players figure out the game.
The most bizarre thing you’ve experienced with You’ve Got Freight!?
How participants go from initial apprehension “What are we going to do, play a game?!”, to become the most competitive participants who will go out of their way to win.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Tennis, cycling and running, and of course playing board games!

What is your favorite aspect about You’ve Got Freight!?
Everyone wants to win, and therefore goes from conscious thinking to the unconscious. This means that players make decisions that are based on human nature and can therefore be easily placed into the ‘real’ world.
The most bizarre thing you’ve experienced with You’ve Got Freight!?
That during my holiday in Thailand I gave training to 8 teachers from The University of the Thai chamber of commerce.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Playing hockey, dancing, cooking, gardening and playing games

Convey information efficiently and effectively, for example during a train the facilitator session. Maintain an overview and provide structure.
What is your favorite aspect about You’ve Got Freight!?
That it remains exciting to facilitate sessions again and again. Whether we do a turbo session at an event or several extensive gaming sessions, the participants always have fun and that’s why I do too.
The most bizarre thing you’ve experienced with You’ve Got Freight!?
During the covid years, YGF! has only become more popular, despite the fact that the majority of people stayed at home.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Badminton, board games, Rocket League and running.
